2007 Year End Report:

Throughout the year we have participated in several volunteer activities.  We had members volunteer for the Bluegrass Antiques Show sponsored by the Bluegrass rust Foundation.  We volunteered serving lunch at the local shelter called the Hope Center, several times.  We also had our first annual "Annual August Book Drive."  We collected books for the Carnegie Center for Literacy and learning.  It was very successful for our first drive.

Other Activities:  Several members attended the "Hat for Hope Auction" in Louisville, KY for the American Cancer Society.  A few members also went to a local play together.

Overall, this year has been very successful.  Next year we hope to continue with monthly luncheons, continue volunteering (especially with the first Lexington hats for Life Auction, as well as attend several horse races at the Keeneland Race track.  We also hope to spread the word more and get a few more members.
