KING STREET WALK

The Hat Ladies were delighted to participate in this annual holiday event that encourages everyone to "shop local" and to support The Center for Women

We had a particularly tough assignment:  Trying to get people to stop and shop at THE primer Hat Store of them all:

We held up signs with clever sayings about shoes (and hats....)

Marlene,  Pat, Nancy, Jackie

"Saying you don't look good in hats is like saying you don't look good in shoes."

Jackie

"Spouses come and go; (Bob Ellis) shoes last forever."

Nancy

"I did not have 4,000 pairs of shoes; only 1016."  Imelda Marcos (all Bob Ellis, of course)

Marlene

"If you think a pair of shoes doesn't matter, just ask Cinderella."

Pat

Jackie, Nancy, Marlene

Stoppin' 'em every way we can!

Inside, Archie and Linda offer classes in Hat Wearing 101."

"Always buy a good pair of shoes and a good bed. If you're not in one, you're in the other."

Linda instructs a customer

Archie finds the purrfect purse!

`

Sandra comes shopping and finds Nancy

Corrine comes, too,

`

along with Maryann,

Kathleen, and Mattye

Leaving, but not forgotten!

Pat can't resist stopping by for a lesson

Marlene spies a Bob Ellis bag!

Pat gives it one more try!

'Twas A Grand Night for Shopping and cajoling!

Jackie, Marlene, Pat, Archie, Linda, Nancy
